Nursing bra question?

I'm a FTM so please don't judge my lack of know late of these things.. Lol. Is a nursing bra just for if youre nursing or is it called a nursing bra because it's for women who have just had a baby? I'm in need of some comfy bras for after birth; but I am not nursing, should I still get a nursing bra for comfort? Or is it only for if you're nursing?

Get whatever makes you comfortable!! They're called nursing bras because they make your breasts easy to access, either by letting you unclip each cup or pull aside the cup

I'm not even getting any fancy nursing bras that are super over priced. I'm getting regular bras that the straps can unhook. Literally the same concept, and generally cheaper. At least around where I live. I've seen nothing about nursing bras that make me want to spend that much money on them when I can get basically the same thing for half the price

Not necessarily, i had to buy some while I was pregnant since my boobs were growing so much. Obviously it helps for after your pregnancy If you nurse because you get engorged.

I loved the nursing tank tops for around the house. A bit of support without constricting. Even if you aren't nursing those puppies are still gonna fill up for awhile! I still wear the tank tops and I stopped nursing 7 months ago.

To be honest, they are more comfy... Lol. Hubby loves the easy access, too.
