Engaged on my 21st Birthday!! 😍
On October 28th, my boyfriend of 2 years proposed to me at my 21st Birthday party downtown in Houston Tx. He got on the microphone in front of tons of people, with a strong voice, knelt on one knee before me, he asked me to be his wife!! Never did I think this day would come!! 
Unfortunately, the only objections to my fresh engagement, my family.
I've been thru plenty of heartache, trials, and disappointments, but never anything this heartbreaking, for my own family not supporting my happiness.
It has came down to my mother's unhappiness in her own marriage, so she's lashing at my exciting news I've waited for pretty much my whole life. I have no idea how to handle my confusion, disappointment for the feel of being disowned for choosing to continue to be happy with my Fiancé, slandered, and just resentful towards my family for doing such a cruel thing. I always dreamt of the day telling my mother i got engaged like the rest of my girlfriends have, while I still lived at my parents home working 70+ hours every week my mom would never fail to mention "just get married" or "all I want is your happiness". My heart lays a little cold and heavy for my mothers thoughtless actions, but here is to many years ahead with the love of my life 💖 I couldn't be more sure about anything else in my life. Forever babe. 💋
