8/9 month sleep regression???

My baby is 8 1/2 months old and must be going through some kind of sleep regression. Since about 4 months he's been on a great sleep schedule...sleeping around 10/11 hrs per night. Now all of a sudden he's up every couple of hours. Am i alone in this? Anyone else going through the same thing? What the Heck it's going on? TIA

Not alone. My daughter has been going to bed at 630 like always and now she is up every 3 hours on a good night and every 1 1/2 on a bad night. Last night was burtal she only did 1 3 hour stretch. She is killing me slowly. I only had one month of decent (8 hour +) stretches.  I know it's just a phase and it will end but I've got nothing left in the tank. Sorry I have no advice, just wanted to let you know you're not alone

My son slept most of the night for 3months then he started teething. Ever since then he's eating ever 2 hours. Some nights he will fight going back to sleep. I do anything to get him back to sleep. Soaking w him, sing to him, pat, rock, and sometimes I just have to put him in bed w me and daddy. Sometimes nothing works until hours later w a second bottle then finally he's out.

Yeah its pretty common. Its called the 8-10 month sleep regression. We are going through it now at 9 months but its definetly getting better. Just keep trying to be consistent and it will pass. Yep started about the same time as crawling... cosleeping to get her through it after 11pm. Will do 7-10 or 11 on her own, but that's it...

We had this at 4 mos too so confident it will pass.

I am with ya! Goes to bed totally fine (Knock on wood), but is up more frequently! Also a little cold happening and teeth. 😴😴

Mine did this a little before through a little after 8months. It was so awful. I tried a couple times to get her back on track by comforting her but leaving her to cry a little while (which had worked several times like a charm in the past). It didn't work the first couple times, she was just so upset she couldn't calm down at all and the way she was upset was "different" than usual. So I gave up and rode it out for a while. Then it got to a point where I just felt like she wasn't upset anymore and it was more habit, so I tried again and she was totally fine. Now she is sleeping about 7:30-5:30.

Sleep regression - it will right itself (eventually!!) my son has never slept through the night but this sleep regression is different - he is getting up and staying up in the wee hours and going back down about 7am - lord give us strength! Xx

Is teething a reason??? My eight month old is also up frequently. He's also not eating. 🤔

Not alone, my son has been doing this the past few days. Today he woke up at 4:30 AM and didn't go to sleep until 6 AM and boy was I exhausted. Don't know how to fix it.
