what would you do?

Ok,so my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4years. Yesterday I found out he had chlamydia when he was 16. That was 6 years ago. He had mentioned it to me before, but I always though he was joking. Even his mom told me but she was giggling when she told me so I just assumed they were messing around with me. 
Anyways yesterday he had a doctors appointment and he told the doctor about it. Right there I knew he wasn't lying. I felt kinda angry and grossed out. The doctor said that since he got it cured there is no chance of him transferring it to me. Also since he hasn't had it for 6 years there is a low possibility he will ever have it again. I think what pissed me off the most was that he lost his virginity to this girl who he got chlamydia from. She was a girl who had been around a lot. At the time she was 15 and he was 16. They weren't even dating, she just wanted to Fuck and so did he. I'm mad that he didn't use a condom. I'm just confused I felt like breaking up. 
What would you guys do if you were in this situation. Am I over reacting?!?

You are alitle.   1 he did tell you and so did his mom .. 2 he slept with someone before you to even got together the past is the past .. you would be even more pissed if he never told you but he did tell you it's not his fault you thought him and his mom where joking he's atleast honest about it Wich alot of ppl aren't and got it taken care of instead of giving it to you.  It could be worse he could have cheated on you and got it and gave it to you. But he didn't

You are the one who didn't listen when he told you, but you want to punish him? Time to grow up.

Unless if he still has it.But  obviously  he was open about it to you. I wouldn't punish him for having caught that. That will just make him in the future uneasy to tell you the smallest things and confine in you.  If anything he might break up with you for being uncaring and unsupportive. Its not like any of us want to catch stds but sometimes shit happens and you hope the other person is honest.

How can you be mad about something that happened years before you? Am I missing the point? It's non of your concern, you wasn't with him then. It's not like he left it and passed it on to you.
