Question

What are the chances of getting pregnant when having sex the day after your period ends? I'm very irregular and only ever have a period for 2-3 days max. Since I'm irregular, I've been reading hat depending how long your cycle is depends on how quickly after your period you can get pregnant. Anyone have any clue?

Answer

It depends on when you ovulate. Generally speaking a Woman with a 28 day cycle will ovulate around cycle day 14. That being said many women will ovulate before that, after that or in some cases it will change month to month. You can't rely on an app like this do inform you of when you ovulate because it goes based on averages and not you. Also since sperm can live for a week if you ovulate at any point during that tone you're at risk

Answer

I fell pregnant either the day after my period ended or a couple of days later with my youngest.
 Period ended 7th April 2014, had sex that night and a few nights after as well. 😳
May 8th took a test and was positive. Had a scan 6 weeks later and was 10 weeks, they said conception must have happened between the 8th-12th of April 
So it can happen, just depends when you ovulate (which I know I do at either the very start or very end of my cycle, its never in the middle lol)
