I can't take this liquid diet

I'm on a liquid diet since I've been in labor & im so hungry it's making everything worst. Why can't I eat? If I do what's the worst that could happen? They keep giving me jello & popsicles. Wtf am I supposed to do with that? I keep throwing up that nasty stuff called bile I think, it's like stomach acid. This is seriously outrageous. I'm trying to stay calm but I'm about to have a fit 😡
