Maybe if your wedding was 4+ months away, but now not so much. BC usually causes the most side effects during the first 3 months and it can take roughly that long for your body to fully adjust to it. With your wedding this close I'd say stick to condoms or at most non-hormonal BC like diaphragms since you won't have any side effects as long as you're not allergic to the material.
