Second Opinion?
I'm active duty Navy and I'm due March 2017. I'm stationed in San Diego, CA so I have to have all care provided to my children and myself at Naval Medical Center San Diego...otherwise known as Balboa Hospital. Since I found out I was pregnant I've seen a different doctor every time, my appointments are rushed, I've never even see my baby on those generic ass ultrasound machines they use, I am doing things at work that pregnant people shouldn't be doing, and I have high blood pressure that the doctors are looking over. I have spoken to TRICARE and because I'm active duty I can't switch my insurance plan to receive off base care and the doctors aren't giving referrals to active duty members to be seen at other hospitals. So I'm literally stuck here. I'm hoping that you ladies can give me some advice on how to get a second opinion without it costing me thousands of dollars.
