Increased sperm count with Clomid!

I just wanted to share a success story about my husband, because a few weeks ago, I was feeling pretty hopeless. My husband did a semen analysis several months ago and they only found 7 live sperm (none of them were normal) so IVF with ICSI wasn't an option anymore. We were devastated. Our last option was to do a surgery where they make an incision in his testicles and take sperm directly from the source (which actually has a pretty high success rate for those in need) The doctor wanted him to take clomid for 4 weeks to try and increase the numbers before surgery. He was supppsed to have surgery today, but had an SA done on Tuesday and they found 100,000 completely normal sperm. So we were able to cancel the surgery and move forward with the IVF as planned, We were completely shocked and so excited. I am definitely someone who hates to wait (infertility is torture for me) but I'm so glad we waited those extra 4 weeks 😊 I'm hoping this will help anyone going through a similar situation.
