ovulation or implantation bleeding

I had a LH surge on day 11 (last Sunday) today is day 17 and I am having bright pink spotting. I looked it up and usually implantation bleeding is day 9. Could I have ovulated later than my surge?

Thoughts? Has this ever happened to anyone?
