DNA test

We have been on the fence about getting our boys tested to see if they're identical ever since before they were born. We decided that if they looked enough like each other that we would go ahead and get them tested. Even though we can tell them apart because one was born with an underdeveloped ear, we are going to get them tested so they will know. My question is to other moms who have gotten a DNA test done, what test did you use? And did you do the test yourself or get your pediatrician to do it? TIA
