Pap while on your period?

Is it ok to go to the doctor for a pap while on your period.. the end of it at that? My period came a couple days late so, my timing on scheduling is off.   It took me a month and a half to get in. I reallllllly don't want to reschedule because this is mainly to talk about infertility issues. I've waited years for this!

They won't do one if you are bleeding. It contaminates the swab and they won't get accurate results.

My doctor doesn't do them while on your period. Some do, some don't. Call the office to find out for sure.

Depends on the office mine wont do it if you have any bleeding my friends will do it even if your bleeding so just call and ask

I've had them done when I was on my period before but I'm sure it differs doctor to doctor. Just call your doctors office and ask

I'm sure I had one while I was on my period but it was testing for stds and cancer not infertility but it didn't seem to be a problem then
