should I get my ears pierced?

I'm 18 and a senior and I've had my ears pierced twice, once in second grade and once in fifth grade. The first time I had an allergic reaction and took them out and they closed up. The second time it was pierced weird and developed a cyst behind my ear (it's gross I know) and had to have it surgically removed and it was stitched over the hole. I was not discouraged from getting them pierced again though. Is it even worth it at this point?
