When did you feel that you loved your baby?

I'm almost 30 weeks and I still don't feel the overwhelming love that most women describe. I am excited for my baby, I love buying things for my baby and preparing, I love hearing my husband talk about how excited he is. But I just don't feel that all encompassing love yet. I thought it would come when I felt movement, and while that's pretty awesome and cool it didn't hit me with a tidal wave of love. I know it will come when I finally push the baby out and get to hold it in my arms and look at it. There's nothing wrong with not feeling connected or "in love" with your baby right away.

I'm 26 weeks almost and feel so overwhelmed with love for my daughter. With my first I was a teen mom so it took a little while for me to get used to the idea of having a baby. I was excited to meet him but I'm not sure when the actual feeling of love kicked in.
