Nose hair OUTSIDE nose

Okay, so on December 31, 2012 I got my nose pierced. I never noticed this until now that I have little hairs that look like blackheads on the OUTSIDE of my nose. I plucked like 3 and they slid out with no problem..ever since I got my nose pierced it has been extremely dry and these hairs have started to grow on them. I never ever had this problem until I pierced my nose! The dryness is all up my nose and it flakes. It's SO embarrassing! Is this normal? If not, what do you ladies suggest I do?
