Washing Clothes Ahead of time

So I have been wanting to wash baby girls clothes and get them hung and organized but I'm scared she won't end up wearing some stuff if she grows out of it and I will be left unable to exchange/return items because the tags are off. What is everyone else doing when it comes to this? I'm the type that jumps into ripping tags off before I even try stuff on and I don't want to do the same with baby's clothes but at the same time I want stuff to be washed! 😂
