Has anyone experienced bleeding every month with the depo shot?

I recently switched my BC to the depo shot because I thought it would make me periods lighter or just stop it all together. After I got my first shot I bled every month and every day so I was curious if this has happened to anyone else.
The only other BC I can use is the patch, because I'm way to afraid of the implant, and I get highly sick with BC pills.

I finally got off of it because I don't have money to be buying tampons and pads every single day. That's how bad it was for me. Yes they were lighter but they came every day, every month. I am now back on the patch because it's really the only thing there is left for me, because I don't like the idea of having something implanted in me, and the pills make me sick.
