Hubby come home from work (a job which he hates) in a bad mood. And makes you feel like it's something you've done? And then when you question him about it he bites your head off? It's cos he hates his job I know and it makes him miserable but when I have a massively shit day which is most days where I work I never take it out on him. Maybe I'm just better at controlling my emotions but this really gets to me. It feels like i piss him off and don't make him happy.

Try to do things to make his day a little easier, little things like lay his clothes out for when he gets off, something comfy, has his dinner made, clean house, be positive, and if it's about work don't ask about it, just be happy and say things like "I missed my strong workin man" and try to get his mind off of it. If he's still acting that way I would talk to him about it cause it's not your fault that his job sucks and you're doing what you can. Prayers girl 😊

Maybe he needs some time to unwind when he gets home. Personally I savour my commute home alone, and then when I do get home I still need about ten minutes to take my shoes off and get changed and shake the day off before anyone talks to me or I'm just really crabby. It's really not cool that he's taking his day out on you though, everyone does that occasionally, but doing it consistently is unhealthy and going to build resentment between you two. He needs to find a more productive way to release his stress.

He does sometimes. But then I remind him that his children are watching and learning, and that all we want to do is love him, and he cools off.

Currently dealing with this! My man has had a bad day at work, his son is sick and still at grandmas, his working late, and he's really crabby. He got mad that I felt bad and told him I feel like I can never cheer him up and said "stop making it about you". I was like "hello! I have dinner waiting for you at home and I cleaned and disinfected the apartment AND I have been out of town all weekend!" I was hoping to be able to cheer him up, but I guess that's not happening! :( I hate how I'm never allowed to be crabby, but everyone else is!
