am I in the wrong?

Am I in the wrong getting annoying and arguing with my SO because he has planned a day out with his mates without telling me and finding out through his mate.  It's not just that I have a problem with it's he has been struggling with money this month anyway and his next pay day we planned to spend it on baby stuff and Christmas but instead will be wasting that money on his day out. Before anyone mentions the controlling card I would like to add we both go out and do our own stuff, it's just the fact he hid it from me and it's his last pay day before Christmas.

I would be upset about that yes. I don't think it's controlling, especially when times are tough with money! I'd never go out and spend a bunch of money when things were right and I hope he wouldn't. And I would also hope he'd communicate with me about it first.

I'd be upset. He could've told you. Plus I think he should set some money aside for what you two already planned. He could at least keep his word

I would say you can be upset over the communication but it is his money and he can waste it however he wants
