2 hour glucose test ?

Are any of you ladies have to do the 2hr glucose test right off the bat? I thought maybe the nurse made a mistake by marking it as I have never had any issues with diabetes or blood sugar but I asked the Dr and he said they were starting off doing the 2 hr vs the 1 hr that I have always had with my past pregnancies but He did not explain any further. All was said was to fast 10 hours prior. Anyone else ?
