Ptosis: Would you get surgery on your child?

My daughter has a mild ptosis, it's somewhat unnoticeable right now and I actually only see it in pictures or in the mirror (don't know why). I have a mild ptosis too and I didn't even know, or notice it. I do not want her to have surgery on it unless it's medically needed if it gets worse (without other treatments working), but it made me wonder how other parents may feel about it? Would you get surgery and why?
