Gestational diabeties sucks

So, I have gestational diabeties. I went to see the nutritionist yesterday and I have to check my blood sugar four times a day, take an insulin injection at night, maintain a sugar log, maintain a written food log, and go to their office every two weeks. It's freaking intense. I am soooooo frustrated! I had already lost 16 pounds in this pregnancy- I'm sure this rigid diet will keep the scales going down, down, down. Any other mommies have this?
