Late period, negative test

Sara

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for nearly a year. I've gotten pregnant before, November of 2014. However, that pregnancy did not work out.

Back in August, I started seeing my fertility doctor, who I love so much!!! He's amazing and his staff is great! He put me on clomid and I've been taking it as directed. Last month was my 3rd cycle. My husband and I made sure we were completely on the ball this time. Now I am 2 days late. My period has been coming right on time, every month, every 28 days. This is the first time it's been late. I'm trying so hard not to get excited.

Here's the dilemma. I've taken several pregnancy tests and they've all come out negative. I spoke to the midwife from the doctor's office today and she assured me it would be to early to be detected on the test and that they could find out if they draw blood. I plan on seeing my doctor on Monday and crossing my fingers and praying I don't get my period at all!

I've been having mild cramping and it scares me that I might actually just be getting my pregnant. I don't have other symptoms yet, not even breast tenderness or soreness. But is it possible I can be pregnant? So nervous!!!! Trying so hard not to get excited!!!
