cervidil

How many mommies were induced and they used cervidil? Was it very effective or did they have to try something else? I'm being induced next Thursday and my doctor said we will start with cervidil if that doesn't work try a foley bulb if that doesn't work pitocin then a c section from there. I'm just curious to see how many of you had success with it and didn't have to go any further than the cervidil.
