First and foremost, I'm 6wks preggo. So, around 2am this morning, I woke up from my sleep to a 'gush' sound. I go to the restroom and my shorts are soaked, but u don't notice any bleeding. I proceeded to pull my shorts off and there's blood, like a light period, and then this thing plopped out 😮. So I immediately called the ambulance and told them "I believe I just had a miscarriage". I had no cramping pain, but I did have some light pinkish/brown spotting earlier in the week. So, we make it to the ER and my husband meets me there since he was working overnight shifts. They did regular Ultrasound, vaginal Ultrasound, and blood work. The doctor says my hcg levels are high and there's still a sac with the embryo. They believe I just passed a large clot, but she did let me know there is still a chance for a miscarriage, but then again, I could go full term. Appointment scheduled to see my obgyn tomorrow morning for blood work. I'm so nervous and scared. "Threatened Miscarriage" is what the diagnosis was on my ER discharge papers 😥😥☹️ 🎉UPDATE 🎉 After my visit with my obgyn today, everything was normal. I'm 6W3D and estimated due date of July 4th. My doctor is thinking maybe the clot formed while I was on the depo shot and now that I'm pregnant, my body wanted to get rid of it. Next follow up in in January.
