after labor outfit?

What will you be wearing during your stay at the hospital? I'm asking because I have no idea if I'm gonna take a robe, pajamas, or just a random pair of sweatpants or something. FTM

I'd recommend black bottoms because of the bleeding after birth, something loose in the but because you wear big panties and pads that give you a diaper butt lol but also something with a comfy waist that isn't too tight in case of cesarean. Top, I'd bring nursing tanks, nursing bras, sweatshirts.

Last time I wore a $5 dollar night gown from Walmart which was comfy with socks & took a shower. Let my hair go naturally cause I wanted to get back to my baby which was sleeping & I locked my hospital bedroom door. So I was defiantly comfy but felt too free once the pain came back & all the blood is a mess.

This time pants, robe, nursing bra & tank top plus slippers or socks. Last time was a summer baby this time is winter.

I brought maternity leggings and a nursing tank with a comfy sweater last time and will most likely do the same for leaving the hospital. For right after I'm planning on picking up a cute nightie from Motherhood Maternity. It comes with a robe and is nursing friendly. Also bring slippers!

I was released from the hospital 24 hours after baby was born. After no took a shower about an hour after birth I wore a big comfy shirt and comfy pants, just as I would at home just lounging around.
