how many car seats are you using?

Hi ladies! Do I need 2 car seats l? 1 fir my car and - 1 for hubby? My mother in law will be taking care of baby during the day, do I need to buy a car seat for her car as well?

Just wanted to know how you guys did it. As I'm thinking about this, it can get really expensive.

Right now baby will probably mostly be with you. I'd just switch hubby's car seat with in law for now, I wouldn't buy 3 esp since,they'll grow out of it.

We just bought a second base. There's only one baby so I don't see why you would need more than one car seat. As long as the car seat stays with the baby then each car just needs a base for the seat to fit in.

We have 1 infant car seat and 2 bases, one for each car. For our 3 year old, we have 2 convertible car seats.
