Question

If one more person tells me to give my son porridge at night to make him sleep I think I might blow up. He's 4.5 months old, he's just started sleeping through the night, and he's on milk and only milk. I'm not going to purposely fill his stomach to make him sleep longer. He doesn't need anything else, he's happy with 6oz of milk per feed. Please keep your opinions about my son's eating to yourself I ain't asking for them🙄 anyone else getting fed up of people telling you how to raise your babies?

YES. THIS. My family members keep telling me I need to give it to her because they gave it to their babies and they slept through the night since birth. And they keep trying to give her solids because that's what they did with their babies. She's only three and a half months old! And they wonder why I won't let my baby stay the night anywhere yet..

My baby is 10 month and still wakes up in the middle of the night to nurse once. I've been told so many times to give her water (which she doesn't take when she wakes up for boob, not for water)... they say it will be better. But better for who? I don't mind waking once to nurse and cuddle my little girl, I'm sure she doesn't mind either. So for who is it going to be better?! Drives me nuts hearing those unwanted advices

Ahh yes. 
I get the "You look tired? Is he still waking up during the night? Why don't you give him rice cereal with his bedtime feed? Then you could get some sleep!" 
Well, ive been doing this whole sleep deprivation, waking up in the night for 3 months already, so im sure i can stomach a little longer. I'd rather not fill my baby up with something he finds difficult to digest just to get a little extra shut-eye. 
Besides, me not sleeping a full night gives me the excuse to nap during the day instead of doing the washing up!

I completely agree, I'm waiting till six months. My daughter is on the tail end of the four month sleep regression. And everyone keeps says big "oh she must be hungry give her rice cereal" nope, nope, and nope. It's not good for their little bodies. All she needs is breast milk until 6 months. And even then I won't be giving her rice cereal I will be giving her real food. Vegetables and fruits

I give my 2 year old extra pumped breast milk from the bottle in the evening, cuz it seems my breasts r empty and she wants more and yes, after that she does sleep 5-6 h straight.But I still get up 3 h later to pump: cuz longer i wait less milk  i produce.. So it's good for the milk supply to bf in the night!

My LO sleeps through the night with only breastfeeding.  She sleeps 6 -8 hours straight
