breasts itch while breastfeeding??

Just wondering what is going on with my breasts... it doesn't happens every times, actually mostly only during the night feedings, but OMG, my breasts itch so much while my baby is in them. I feel like I'm going crazy waiting for her to finish. Is this normal? Any one else feels the same?

I get this too! And itchy arm pits. I read it's from the hormone release and nerve stimulation during let down from baby nursing. It's definitely normal!

My letdown is usually a burning or itching feeling. I hate it.

That is so interesting!! I just finished feeding my daughter and was wondering why my boobs always felt so itchy around the times she eats lol

I was told by the lactation specialist it's just my milk let down.

I get it too, but only on the left side.  Itching from the inside and usually when she is coming close to emptying that side. So annoying.
