postpartum jealousy?

Hey guys ❤️️my name is Ashleigh and I had my baby girl Aria Ramona three weeks ago! Lately I have been feeling pretty down about my weight gain and flabby/full of stretch marks new mom bod. I love my baby and put her first of course but I feel so terrible and even jealous of any girl I see who has a "better" body than I do. I know I birthed a human so I should feel like a motherly goddess but I'm just struggling a lot right now :/

It's totally normal!! 90% of women feel this way even if they've got a great PP body!

While you're pregnant you reassure yourself by looking and knowing your baby is inside and growing! That's it's all worth it because they're safe!

But then they're out. And you just have a stretch mark filled, flabby belly! It's not doing any good anymore xD add all the hormones your body is adjusting to and it just makes for a mess!

It's very normal & doesn't in any way make you a bad mom or anything.

I feel this way especially if I see him looking even glancing at another .they just don't respect the sacrifices we make

I have not had my baby yet, I have 3 more weeks. But with the weight I have gained and all the stretch marks I have gotten I know I'll be the same. It's a hard reality to accept! I have a meal and workout plan put together already for when baby is born. Of course I won't be able to start the workouts until a few weeks after but it's motivation for me. I keep looking back at a picture of what I used to look like and I keep telling Myself that's who I wanna be again so I'm gunna strive to be that again when she is here. It's important that we are healthy but it's more important that we love ourselves and who we see every day. What do you think you can do that would make you happy? And what kind of motivation do you need to make it happen?
