Baby shower?

Did you have a baby shower for your 2nd child? We are having our 2nd boy and several friends/family have asked about a shower. It makes no difference to me honestly I was just curious about anyone else's thoughts.

I didn't have a shower for my 2nd child (different gender) but that's because no one offered to throw me one. I would have had one though if someone had offered. I'm pregnant with my 3rd now and my mom asked if she could throw me a small shower and I'm very excited. If someone offers to throw you one, I think it's perfectly fine.

Nobody offered... to be fair, I'm 30 weeks and only a few of my friends know I'm expecting.  But still, the ones who know are my closest friends and they didn't offer.

I did find out last week that some women I work with are planning a small get together- about 8 women.  So that's sweet.

My girls will be 7 years apart... mostly just clothes survived.

I did but mine are 5 years apart so I didn't have anything saved but clothes...

I had one for my first only like four people came for our boy and I one this time for my girl we are having. We had 30 people come out to this one. My pregnancies are 7 years apart as well. 
We did one for each gender . Next child we won't have one .
