too much sex and UTIs?

Hey guys, so can UTIs happen if you have sex a lot in a short period of time? Like I had sex about 6 times in a day for 3 days and got a UTI. I drank plenty of fluids and I wiped correctly and peed before and after sex and all that fun stuff. So now I'm thinking maybe it's not that I'm not being clean or hydrated, can having sex too much be the thing that causes UTIs too?

From personal experience, yes it can. There is a lot going on and a lot of sweat and body fluids with probably not a shower in between until the end of the day of being with each other. 
Very rarely am I able to self treat my UTIs and it's better to just go to the local prompt care and get an antibiotic.

You can get a UTI from speeding wrong, I swear lmbo. They are super easy to get, especially having a lot of sex in a short time. Go to the doctors they will give you a prescription , easy fix and for the meantime to alliviate you symptoms maybe try AZO (you can get it at Walgreens)

You have a higher chance cause you are exposed to bacteria more often but i dont think it has to happen. I never had an UTI until a few months ago when me and my bf started to use condoms and lube, back then we used to have sex more often but no lube or condoms and no UTIs

All a UTI is, is just a transfer of bacteria to your urethra. It can go up higher as it gets worse. It doesn't matter the amount or how often you have sex. It's just a matter if the bacteria gets there or not.
