The "Marriage" Talk Help!

I've been with my boyfriend for about 2 years now. I moved in to his place about 2 months after we started dating, and since then we have gotten our own place together, and things have been great! We have grown a lot and have learned so much about each other. Our relationship is so strong at this point. We both are incredibly in love with each other, though we've never actually had a conversation about getting married. He's made little comments about us getting engaged every so often here and there, but never a full fledged conversation.

So what is a good way to initiate the conversation? To see if we are on the same page and to see how he feels about it?
