Picc line??

Question

Have any of you had a picc line? I got mine in a month ago and am having some difficulties and need some advice. I'm only 18 and everything is super new to me.

I'm a nurse so hopefully I can help. Scabs are ok because you probably bled a bit while they put it in. However they shouldn't really hurt like that. I'd get it checked out. They can curl up, break, move, and get clotted off. How often are you using it?

I had one in place for my first pregnancy very early on due to low platelet counts and having to get constant blood work and treatment for it

I took care of my moms when she had hers and gave her all of her meds and she never had anything like that. And I'm sure as long as it doesn't get infected it will be fine. But I would go get it looked at just to be safe you can never be to careful with those things.
