Circumcision or not? What do you think of it?? Have you done it to your boys? I mean the doctor.. If your haveing a boy, are you gonna have the doctor do it or not?

Hell no!! I have a son already he's 18 months and it never crossed my mind to have it done! I left his penis the way it was, learn to clean his penis and show him how and you won't have any issues. Let him pick if he wants to cut his own damn penis!

My son is circumcised and this next one will be too. I believe it's a personal decision you should make with your partner. Circumcision does decrease a boy's risk of UTIs, bacterial infection, a painful occurrence where the foreskin won't properly retract and penial cancer is almost exclusively found in uncircumcised men. However, the reduction of risk isn't by a huge margin, just slightly and the differences between a circumcised and an uncircumcised boy are not huge. I have also read of some elderly men needing to get circumcised later in life because of hygiene issues/infection when they become less able to care for themselves as they age and that sounds downright horrible to me. Bottom line though, a mother should be able to make this decision without feeling bullied in either direction. Do research from credible sources, ask your pediatrician about the procedure (most use anesthesia, FYI), talk with your partner and make the decision that you believe is best for your son.

I left it up to my husband and we are circumcising our boys. I've seen what grown men go through when they need it done when they are older and it horrific on them. My first son never cried or bled.

Nope. No circumcision for our baby if it was a boy. All the negatives of being uncircumsised are from not cleaning it properly. Teach your boy good hygiene and he'll be fine. The only thing not related to hygiene is penial cancer which is basically nonexistent anyways. It's very rare, less than 1% of all the cancers diagnosed in men, so not even a concern.
