Recently diagnosed with pcos and put on BC but still want a baby!

I'm going on two years of ttc and just got diagnosed with pcos in December and doc put me on BC to stop my bleeding cause I was bleeding everyday and said that if I stop BC in a few months it might trick my body back into ovulating should I listen to her advice or just stop the BC all together because my baby fever has tripled since starting birth control and I feel like it's holding me back from even trying and I'm determined to get pregnant this year!
