Newly Diagnosed PCOS?!? Support

Just got
Diagnosed this morning with PCOS.
I am devastated. All I ever wanted was to have a family. And now I feel
This is my biggest fear coming true. I really need support, I don't know what happens now, just went for blood work. Provera is supposed to start tomorrow. I need all the support...advice and help necessary. Thanks

I also have PCOS but was diagnosed before I started TTC, so I knew it might be a challenge. I took Metformin and last year was able to concieve after 4 months. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage. We started trying again and my cycles were really wacky but I was ovulating. After 6 months I saw my dr and he doubled my Metformin. I got my period and 2 weeks later ovulated and conceived. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant.

I was devastated when I found out I had pcos. (About 2 months ago) my dr told me it doesn't mean I can't have babies it just means it will be harder. I'm on metformin now to see if that will help any. I'm hoping it does. There's nothing I want more then to finally have a baby. I have been TTC for 2 years now

Don't fear. There are lots of medications. I don't know how successful they are because I haven't pursued that route yet. I take supplements to regulate my hormones rather than using drugs to force it. I got pregnant naturally without drugs but miscarried. Be aware that PCOS increases your risk of miscarriage-so take your prenatal vitamins!

I was officially diagnosed a few months ago but figured even before that that I had pcos. I am on metformin and did two cycles of clomid so far. Unfortunately I still haven't conceived but don't give up! My aunt has pcos and has 4 kids so it's definitely possible just harder.
