39 weeks 4 days

Hey ladies, I am 39 weeks 4 days with my baby girl. At 38 weeks I was dialated to a 3 1/2 and 70% thinned. She has been really low since like 34 weeks. I have a OB appointment tomorrow morning. Should I go ahead and be induced or have my membranes stripped? The only reason I haven't yet is because I heard it makes labor more painful and may end in a csection. Has anyone had either? Did it hurt? How do they induce you? Do you check into hospital when they do? I thought I would have her at 39 weeks. I had my 1 1/2 year old son at exactly 39 weeks and he was 8.5 pounds, so I am scared she will be bigger. Any input helps. So ready for her to be born, but scared of labor as well.
