Im confused

Well one of my cousins and I roomate And we tend to argue more than ever , the last argument we got into was a few days ago and we talked about it the next day he told me "Not trying to sound rude or mean , but you really need to get laid" and I was automatically offended by that because I'm a Virgin and don't plan to have sex until I'm married (I'm 22 yrs old) and he claims that I'm tense at times and sort of uptight . says I need sex or company . am I wrong to be bothered by him saying that ? I don't mean to be uptight or tense but I have things going on in my life that's I'm stressing about.
