Fear of white women? [irrational, I know]

My brother is 30, he has a 7 year old daughter. He's dated one woman off and on for a few years but that ended a few months ago and he is ready to get back out there. He's a black man, about 5'10", a little husky, he has a hood side but he's college educated and cute as a button. ONE CATCH: he wants to date a white woman but he's always been intimidated by white women. My question for you all is - what's the best approach to get over his fear and find his forever mate?

I think that kinda goes for a lot of people ya know? I have dated black guys and when I meet his family I'm always worried that they won't like me, not necessarily for being white but because some families don't believe dating outside of your race! But so far no one has ever complained of my interracial relationships. But if he likes a white woman then tell him to go for it! I don't know what it is about white women that intimidates him but we're all human and we're all the same on the inside made from all the same stuff! Lol

Well, what is it about white women that intimidates him? I know my now-husband was always a bit wary of dating a white girl because he was afraid she wouldn't understand his experiences as an immigrant and would leave him (or that her family wouldn't like him, or any number of things). And personally, I think those were totally valid concerns (luckily both my family and I are head over heels for him hahah, and our differences-- racial, cultural, or otherwise-- have been wonderful opportunities to see the world from a new perspective). 
Or is he intimidated because of the stereotypes? I know white women can be perceived as "high maintenance," really into herself, frivolous, fond of money/material things, etc. I know my husband's coworkers (largely Latino) will sometimes tease him about being with a white girl. But then if they see me, they see just how shy and nerdy and non-intimidating I am. 
Ultimately, I think the most important thing is just to view each woman as an individual. Any person of any race can have any number of qualities. And hopefully whatever girl he is dating will provide him with the same respect and courtesy. If she has qualities that he doesn't like (like if she IS materialistic, shallow, whatever), then he doesn't have to continue seeing her. There is nothing to lose, really. 
I also wouldn't discount any woman for NOT being white. Who knows who his soulmate may be, in reality. It is not always who you would expect. ☺️

Answer

He just needs to act like he would with any other woman.  If she dont like how he is,  just move on to the next.
