has anybody been dilated for a long time ?

Monday I found out I was 2cm dilated and I've been feeling cramps and my husband is in the army and he doesn't get to come to my state until next week on Tuesday and everybody keeps freaking me out cause they are saying she's coming soon but I don't want him to miss the birth :( I know it's different with everybody but has anybody been dilated for more than 9 days when they found out ?
