has anybody been dilated for a long time ?

Monday I found out I was 2cm dilated and I've been feeling cramps and my husband is in the army and he doesn't get to come to my state until next week on Tuesday and everybody keeps freaking me out cause they are saying she's coming soon but I don't want him to miss the birth :( I know it's different with everybody but has anybody been dilated for more than 9 days when they found out ?

My friend was dilated a few cm for a little over a month

My cousin who recently had her baby girl a couple weeks ago was 3cm dilated for over 2 weeks until she delivered so it's not unheard of, actually fairly common I've heard. Don't worry yourself ☺️

I was dilated 3 cm for about a month before my son was born!  It's not uncommon...

How far along are you?? When I was pregnant with my oldest, I dilated to 3.5 centimeters at 28 weeks and stayed at 3.5 until I had him at 33 weeks and 5 days via emergency c-section. With my 3 month old: i dilated to 4cm at 32 weeks 3 days and stayed at 4cm until I had him at 37 weeks exactly. Every pregnancy is different. My sister dilated to 5 cm at 32 weeks and had her baby at 39. I also know a good friend started dilating at 26 weeks and didn't have her baby until 36 weeks exactly.
