weird period

So I have the Mirana and haven't got a period in about a year. Yesterday I spotted a little and today too. Do you think it's just a period or think something could've wrong? I just thought I'd was weird because I haven't gotten one in a year!? Would love some feedback if you think it's ok or if I should call my doctor. Thanks!
