Getting intimate again

Ok, so I'm 4.5 weeks pp, and I know to wait six weeks. I had a second degree laceration with repair and was just curious how long it took you ladies to get back into the swing of things? We've fooled around a few times and attempted penetration but it was WAY painful. Like, it feels like my anatomy is different, like the opening to my vagina is much smaller. I think my OB may have overdone it with the stitches :/
