Sleeping through the night?!

My lo turned 4 months on nov.16th. Every night aroumd 7ish i bathe him with bedtime lavender baby bath, feed him and then he's ready for bed. But not once had he slept through the night. He wakes up every night twoce and then up for good anywhere from 5:45- 6:15. We get my other kiddos ready for school. Walk them to the bus stop and then he eats again and usually goes back to sleel for an hour or so. What are you momma's doing different that have their lo sleeping through the night? I bow down to you!!! Teach me your tricks❤

My lo will sleep 8 to 9 hrs from 7/8pm but she still wakes constantly for her dummy so my eyes r still open with toothpicks! Waiting for the day she can put it in herself lol

My 4.5 month old has never slept through. She still nurses 3 times a night. I don't believe all babies are able this young. I EBF and expect her to need at least 1-2 feedings per night until 6-9 months. It's exhausting but I'm willing to do it.

I asked my pediatrician and she only approved a 6 hour stretch.  After that I will need to nurse.

My little guy was waking up multiple times a night until one night he woke up every hour for two nights and we gave in and bought a swing. In it he slept for 12 hours straight one night! That thing saved me and probably him I was so exhausted and angry. He has started waking up once a night now to breast fed. But that's waayy better than every hour. Eventually we will transition him back to the crib but probably more towards 6 months when we start sleep training.

My son goes down between 8 and 9.30. We started bath and lotion routine prettt much 2 weeks after he was born. We started with him sleeping in his bassinet and never in it end even when I had to nurse him every 1.5 hrs at night. We usually bathe, lotion and massage while talking to him, last bottle of 5/5.5oz and white noise in the rocking chair then not asleep by drowsy he goes into his crib and stays asleep until around 7.30, then eats and sleeps until 9-10am. But I just made the decision to never bring him into our bed and get him used to sleeping alone. I also started he night/day recognition training pretty much when he was born and by 11 weeks he was sleeping over 8hrs

Honestly, I don't what I did that worked by my daughter has always slept long stretches at night. Since 2.5 months. She's 4.5 months now and will bathe her around 7-730p. She gets one last feeding between 8-9p, then sleeps between 930-10p. She won't wake up until 830-930a. Are you nursing you LO before bed? I generally bottle feed my daughter so I know exactly how much breastmilk she drank. She will drink about 7oz. A lot of my friends say "oh she sleeps so well bc she eats so much." Idk if that's the trick? Good luck!

The Magic Merlin Sleepsuit did help my LO transition from sleeping next to me in our bed to sleeping in her own bed in our room. She still wakes 2 X's a night; once around 12ish and again around 4. Up for the day about 6:30/7. So all in all she sleeps pretty well but I can tell you all babies are different. All 3 of my other babies were sleeping through the night by 2 months, sometimes sooner. This one just needs to eat more I guess!

Besides cluster feeding during the day and evening, all you can do is wait especially if baby goes down after eating so is waking up genuinely hungry. If baby is waking up besides being hungry, you can do sleep training when baby is a little older. I had 2 boys who were both horrible sleepers, I thought I was doing something wrong and I would feel frustrated when I heard of babies sleeping through the night.  My 3rd baby daughter just sleeps through the night half the time. I don't do anything different from what I did with her brothers, she just sleeps. The only difference is that with my boys I still worked and didn't feed on demand, my daughter I feed on demand sometimes every hour or every other hour if she isn't napping.

Last night I finally got a 7 hour stretch and that's the first time that's happened! I guess you can say that's sleeping thru the night? My little guy is 17 weeks as of yesterday. He drinks breastmilk in a bottle. I usually let him sleep in his mamaroo from 7ish till I'm ready to go to bed which is around 9pm. I feed him and change his diaper and put him in pjs and then rock him in the rocking chair. I didn't do anything different last night either so shocked he slept that long. Usually he wakes up around 1am and eats. And then after that some nights he's up every hour or two after that. And some nights he's up a lot just because his binky falls out. But usually he eats again around 4-5am. On average I get one good 4 hour stretch 🙄 lol I'm hoping last night isn't a fluke thing

I bath my baby at 10pm she gets her last bottle at 10:40pm ,shes asleep by 11:30pm .wakes up at 5am to eat,I change her diaper and goes back to sleep right away and wakes up at 7-8am. I feed her 4oz every 3 hours . and she also naps through the day . but this past 2days she been taking 30mins-1hour naps but usually naps 2-4 hours. Every baby is different.
