Work rant.

Coworker 1 (CW 1) is 18

Manager 1 (M 1) is 35

A few weeks after CW 1 started, she started hanging out with M 1's daughter. They are close in age but never really hung out before. This has moved into CW 1 hanging out with M 1. M 1 feeds her dinner, and gets her drunk a few times a week. I normally do not care what you do in your spare time. Outside of work, is not my business. But these 2 are making it my business.

Not only is CW1 not doing her job fully, but she was "sick" for the last 2 days during work hours but got better once 4pm hit, only to relapse the next day at 6am. Again, i don't usually care; its none of my business. M 1 knows the mistakes and issues that's CW 1 is having, and she is covering. M 1 and i spent all day Wednesday " cleaning up" the messes from CW 1, only to discover more on Thursday. M 1 has fired people for less. CW 1 also has a 2nd job, that's against company policy ( weird i know but our job creates soooo mant conflict of interest possibilities). M 1 knows, and covers. I'm not CW 1's manager so I've ignored it and just left it alone but I'm so upset after the last few days of cleanup, I might be taking this to our owner.

M 1 doesn't have a manager themselves; we (managers) report directly to the owner, so the next person up is the owner.
