fwb to relationship?

I'm pretty sure I'm just fwb with this guy, but I wouldn't mind getting into a relationship with him.  I'm not upset if we don't, but I obviously have an attraction to him if we've hooked up a couple times.  I know I can't make any guy like me, but advice to start the "talking" stage?  Also, I say "pretty sure I'm just fwb" bc neither of us has said anything along the lines of liking each other more than that yet.
