UTI recovery.. Infection gone but pain remains

Hello.. How long does it take to recover completely from UTI after taking antibiotics.  I had a not so serious infection and took intibiotics for 8 days.. I felt better after that but I still feel a little bit uncomfortable down there if I don't drink lots of water (it doesn't burn and I can't really call it pain). I went back to the hospital and they said that the results of the test are good and that I completely recovered.. The doctor said sometimes it takes a little bit of time to not feel anything at all after treatment. It's been a month that I finished the antibiotics. Does it seem normal to you? Did anyone experience the same? I'm a bit worried.
