MIL stole my Christmas gift idea for my daughter

Kristyn
My daughter is my first child and she's 13 months old, so this Christmas is the first Christmas she'll really get to be involved and will be excited about her presents and I'm so excited for it. I've been thinking and thinking about the perfect gift for her from Santa and my boyfriend and I decided to get her an indoor climbing toy with a slide. I spent days finding the perfect one and I loved the one I found (and it's affordable price lol). I showed it to my boyfriend's mom last week and mentioned that we wanted to get it for her and how excited I was. Then yesterday, I was talking about it again and she told me not to get it because she just ordered it. I know she did it out of the good of her heart, but I was so disappointed. I just spent so much time finding the perfect one and it's the perfect toy for my little climber and I've been imagining her face lighting up when she sees it Christmas morning. So now, I'm not sure what I should do. Should I say nothing and just be disappointed and upset and find something else for my girl or explain everything to my boyfriend's mom and ask her if we could buy it from her so we can give it to her from Santa and I would help her find something else. Or we could buy her a second one and she could have one at our house and one at their house. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but it's important to me :/ What do I do?
