Marijuana and Depo?

Has anybody smoked weed while on birth control and had any problems? I'm on the shot. I've only smoked once. But whenever my doctor gave me the shot she said no smoking, I just didn't know if there was a difference in cigarettes and marijuana. I'm not to worried since it's only been one time I was just wondering.
