Sciatic nerve pain at 23 weeks?

Question

Anyone else around 23 weeks and are miserable from sciatic pain? I can't even roll over in bed without wincing in extreme pain! What do you do about it? Anyone see a doctor for it?

I have an old sports injury in the sciatic area & I'm waiting for the referral to go through for a chiropractor, so I'm not in as much pain during this pregnancy (I'm 15 weeks today ☺)

Yep I have degenerative disc disease and exercise and weight loss made it go away three years ago when they recommended back surgery. I of course said no way. Now with gaining weight and 24 weeks pregnant I can barely walk it hurts so bad and if I stand too many hours in a day. Dr recommended physical therapy. I haven't done it yet but I'm totally not a dr going person so just my regular check ups is enough for me. I have given in a few times and taken Tylenol.

I had that.  Dr said massage and Tylenol. If it didn't stop maybe a physical therapist....

I have issues with it and I'm only 14 weeks. It's from my previous pregnancy and my doctor is sending me to physical therapy

I'm almost 29 weeks, and this just started about two weeks ago off and on. Mine isn't necassarily my back, my right calf down to my toes only on the right side hurts terribly and feels almost numb at some points. I find that getting off my feet helps, but that's not the case for me at work a lot if the time. Will tylnolol really help this? I've been so good in my pregnancy with not taking anything, but this is bad & I may cave in if it will help???

I've been having this and a nurse told me to switch between hot and cold pads on your back! Just make sure not to put the hot pad on your tummy! This an Tylenol has helped me a little.
